(Case study) — 06 / 10
PizzaHut.az is the official online ordering platform for Pizza Hut in Azerbaijan — pizzas, sides and drinks picked in a few taps and delivered fast.
(Scope)
A mobile-first, on-brand e-commerce platform that lets people finish an online order quickly and comfortably.
Research showed what Azerbaijani customers want from ordering pizza online: a simple, fast process, a lot of it on phones, seeing the product before choosing it, prices and promotions up front, and as few clicks as possible in the cart.
Ordering behaviour was analysed and the whole flow was tuned for speed. Products got a clear category structure and a short, simple path from menu to checkout.
I built the front-end in Nuxt: a sticky category menu, product cards with visual detail, a cart that stays one tap away, and motion that guides rather than decorates — with mobile as the primary target.
After launch, analytics showed more visitors moving on to ordering, fewer people abandoning the cart, and a larger share of orders completed on mobile. Time on site grew too — a sign that browsing the menu had become easier.
